Thanks for joining me!
I chose the name of this blog, Lodge Pole Quilting because my husband and I share the same initials, L. P. and we have Lodge Pole pine all around us. They are really something in the late fall. Their needles turn a bright yellow then turn gold as the season gets colder, and eventually they fall off. The roads and highways are covered in gold pine needles. That is when you know fall is over and winter is here in Montana.
My goal is to post the various quilting projects I am working on, as I design them. Designing a quilt can be challenging, especially if you are mathematically challenged as I am some days. It’s a good thing I am not an accountant.
So I hope you enjoy this blog and the various quilts I design. I will even share some of what is happening in my neck of the woods here in Montana. I look forward to hearing from you.
